As promised earlier we have now completed our review of all Shared Hosting Plans and have made the following changes:
Effective Immediately
Lite Plan - Disk increased from 750MB to 1,500MB, Traffic now unlimited
Pro Plan - Disk increased from 1,000MB to 2,500MB, Traffic now unlimited
Extreme Plan - Disk increased from 2,000MB to 5,000MB, Traffic now unlimited
Prices remain unchanged on all plans for existing customers, however there is likely to be a small increase in price in the near future, so if your considering a plan upgrade, or becoming a new Kiwihosting.net customer then please feel free to signup or request an upgrade now to ensure you get the best price possible. When the price increase does occur all current customers will continue to be charged at today's prices.
Resellers we haven't forgotten you either, we'll now start reviewing these plans and hope to have some news for you in the next few weeks. |

Firstly a Happy and Prosperous New Year to all Kiwihosting.net customers.
We will shortly be moving to Unlimited Data allowances across all Shared hosting Plans and we will also be increasing the Disk Space allowance for all Shared hosting plans at the same time.
The exact size of the disk space increases is yet to be determined however we will be making these updates to your plans within the next 7-10 days, we’ll advise you of the disk space increase at that time.
These changes come at no extra cost to you and there is nothing you need to do to receive these upgrades. Your hosting plan will continue to remain at the same price as it is today.

We have now commenced closing down of the HSphere accounts. If you have not completed your migration to the new servers please contact us urgently for an extension, we are able to provide 1-2 more weeks if required but after that time we will no longer have access to the servers to be able to assist with migrations or retrieval of your data. |

Our thoughts and sympathy go out to everyone impacted by yesterdays Christchurch earthquake.
To help our customers keep in touch with friends and family over the coming weeks and months we will be crediting all Christchurch based customers with 6 months free hosting over the next couple of days.

Within the next 7 days we will be brining a new web server online "SCOTTY"
This new server will be running with NZ Regional date and time settings.
If you would like to be put on the list for a transfer to this server please lodge a ticket via our support email address and we'll move you over to it once it's up and running.
We will also be balancing some of the load from the current web servers onto this server, we'll email any customer whos website is transferred in advance.

We are no longer actively able to provide support for our HSphere servers and have now made the decision to permanently end all support on the 1st of February 2011 at which time the servers will be disabled. We have been busy over the past 18 months manually migrating customers to our new servers and whilst we will continue to migrate customers manually we are still offering all customers the chance to receive 6 months free hosting if you wish to migrate your domains yourself. If you wish to take advantage of this offer please contact us to arrange a new HELM account.
