How do I allow my customers to register domains?
If you are looking for a domain reseller account check out our services at http://domains.kiwihosting.net.nz Click on the reseller menu for more information. US TLD's available from as low as US$7.95
You need to first set-up the domain extensions you want to allow your customers to register. Go to:
- Domains > Domain Registration Settings
- Leave the Domain Registration: as disabled until you have added all the extensions you want to allow.
- From the Lower box select Add New
- Select the Registrar you wish to use. This may be your host or a registrar added by your host. Alternatively select MANUAL if you want to register the domains yourself.
- Enter the domain extension ie com net co.uk Do not enter the leading dot
- Now complete the costs you wish to charge for this domain.
- Transfer Fee > The immediate amount payable when the domain is transfered
- Registration Fee > The amount due when registering a domin with this extension
- Renewal Fee > The amount due upon the renewal date plus the interval between renewals
- Do the above for each domain extension. You can select different registrars for each domain extension.
- Then on the Domain Registration Settings page select Allow my customers to register domains (per settings below) and Save.
Your customer can now register these domains via Helm.
